In 2023, the February tasting of Furmint organized by Wines of Hungary UK was held for the fifth time.
On Monday, February 20, more than 100 Furmint wines can be tasted at the Vintners' Hall in London's EC4. At this year's event, the truly outstanding dry wines of the 2021 vintage were presented, - at the world premiere of the new Hungarian vintages - the items tasted continue to build the history of Tokaj's historic vineyard classification.
Furmint continues its march as the ‘grape to watch’ for fabulous sweet wines and amazing food-friendly dry wines. With over 25 producers presenting over 100 wines, this is a great chance for the UK trade and press to explore this grape in more depth than ever before.
